The Beginning of a Vision (1987)
It all started with a shared dream between two friends, Bob Hall and Bill Trivett. In 1987, they embarked on a metaphysical adventure in York, PA, a place where such resources were scarce. Their quest for enlightenment led them to recognize a need in their community – a need they were destined to fulfill.
The Birth of New Visions
Driven by their passion and extensive retail experience, Bob and Bill transformed their vision into reality. On April 1st, 1987, New Visions opened its doors at 28 S. Beaver St., offering a sanctuary for those seeking self-growth. It was a bold step, filled with challenges, but their unwavering belief in their mission kept them going.
Growth and Expansion
New Visions quickly became more than just a store. It evolved into a hub for learning and exploration. Bill, with his love for Tarot, Astrology, and NLP, began offering classes, while Bob ensured the store’s steady growth. Their commitment to the community extended to sponsoring events and creating platforms like the New Visions Holistic Expo in 2001.
Thriving Through Change
As times changed, so did York. New Visions adapted, growing from a hidden gem into a mainstream haven for metaphysical seekers. Despite the rise and fall of retail giants around them, New Visions remained a steadfast beacon in the community.
Our Home Today
Now residing in the beautiful Kingston Square Shopping Center, New Visions celebrates years in business. This milestone reflects our dedication to you and your journey.
In Loving Memory
We pay tribute to Bill Trivett, who transitioned into light on June 26th, 2017. His spirit and teachings continue to inspire and guide us.
